Hello DMV Derby lovers!! Even though I have lived out here on the east coast for over 10 years now since my departure from Arizona, I am still in the process of getting my feet wet in the wild world of DMV Derby. What I am doing in this region is similar to what I have done in Arizona, provide a place where all of the leagues from the area can come together.
This is a brand new website that is dedicated to flat track roller derby from 12 different leagues that are in the Michi-chan Sports' DMVDerby District, which includes DC, Maryland, Delaware and certain parts of Virginia.
This site is a localized version of iwantmorederby.com, which is dedicated to roller derby in the state of Arizona.
This site will feature information on upcoming events as well as scores from past events. It is the "go to" place for people in the area to discover the different leagues.
This is not your grandma's roller derby. No alligators either!

It's a great way to derby when you don't have a lot of room to derby. Takes about the size of a basketball court and can be played with minimalist rosters (maximum 7, need 3 for a jam). It's a different kind of derby. Check it out!
